Unlike cheaper home golf simulators, our SuperBay™ Safety indoor golf simulator packages are completely wrapped with multiple layers on all sides (golf netting plus commercial grade BlackOut™ fabric - the same stuff used to cover luggage) - including the back. This makes the Superbay™ one of the safest golf simulator bays available. In addition, with its recessed screen and safety valance, none of the rear poles are 'in play'! Thus the SuperBay™ can sit directly against a wall, unlike virtually all competing golf bays!
The professionally trimmed SuperBay™ golf simulator hitting cage includes a tough golf hitting screen, allowing you to hit real golf balls into a life size video image. You can use the SuperBay™ with any golf simulator and an appropriate projector. Custom sizes are no problem. Setup time is about 3 hours. Order your SuperBay™ Complete Home Golf Simulator Package for world-class style you will be proud to display!
Unlike virtually all other home golf simulator enclosures, the SuperBay™ hitting screen hangs inside the cage, 12" from the back edge. Because of this, none of the rear cage structure is "in play". This eliminates the risk of shots striking the rear cage poles and coming back at you! As an added benefit of this design, the back of our SuperBay™ can be placed directly against the wall, with no need for an unsightly gap between the wall and the golf simulator enclosure.
The ShotDefender™ is a safety valance made from tough and durable webbing which hangs 6" in front of the screen mounting structure, effectively blocking access to that pole. The ShotDefender™ significantly reduces the possibility of the golf ball making contact with the screen structure and ricocheting back toward you.
SideRite™ screen tensioning is our unique solution to keep your golf simulator impact screen nice and smooth while removing the risk of a ricochet. We removed side screen poles from our enclosures entirely, replacing them with a flexible cord or cabling system. This keeps your screen nice and smooth while making your home golf hitting bay even safer!
In addition to it's protective cage netting, the SuperBay™ includes a baffle net positioned directly behind the screen to minimize screen recoil. On top of all the netting, the BlackOut™ wrapper creates the darkest golf simulator enclosure you will find anywhere!
If you want even more protection around your hitting area, we offer various modular netting extensions that can be added at any time! With Angled Side Netting you get 10' deep netting triangles which attach to the sides of the enclosure. SkyGuard™ extensions give you adjustable netting along the top edge of your enclosure, with side netting also available as a part of the SkyGuardPLUS™ upgrade!
SuperBay™ standard systems start at 5' Deep, with deeper options available! Custom golf simulator enclosure sizes are no problem! Feel free to give us a call so we can build the best hitting bay for you!
The main goal of Creative Golf 3D is to make the real world golf courses accessible to golf players around the world. All of our golf courses are made from real elevation data, satellite or aerial images and thousands of photos captured on the courses. Every house, tree, sign and bin is on its real location. If you hit them, physics takes care of everything. Golf balls realistically react on any kind of ground surface, object, vegetation or water. Before every game the user can watch video fly-bys over holes or watch ideal game videos. During games, you can analyze surfaces and surroundings from any point and angle and watch the golf ball flight from many positions. Every single shot on the driving range, chip & putt, training course or during classic games can be analyzed (trajectory, speed, angle, deflection, distance, etc.).
If you just want to relax with your friends or family, try the entertainment part of Creative Golf 3D: Demolition Golf, Target Golf and Mini-golf courses gives you all the amusement you want.
And for the youngest promising golfers there is Fairy Tale golf. It is driven by the same rules as the standard golf game, but holes are substantially shorter so kids are able to achieve the same results as adult players.
Since golf hitting screens are fabric products, they will naturally wear over time. Factors such as swing speed, ball type, hitting position, and frequency of use will each affect the life of the screen. Many customers are able to get years of service out of our golf screens, while some may need to replace their screen sooner.
To extend the life of your golf impact screen we recommend using a baffle net, increasing the hitting distance, and using only newer "unscuffed" golf balls. The use of lighter weight products such as "Almost" Golf Balls (1/3 weight) can also significantly extend the life of your golf screen, although the shot distances will typically be shorter than when using real golf balls.
Yes, in many cases our enclosures have a viewport that matches perfectly or near perfectly one of the three common aspect ratios commonly available on projectors. See the chart below showing the best image fit for each of our hitting enclosures.
The viewport refers to the white portion of the screen that is visible after installation. We give careful consideration to the size of our golf hitting enclosures and the resulting viewport of your screen. Enclosures designed by AllSportSystems maintain a balance between a good image fit and enclosure size. For best overall function, safety and swing clearance an enclosure height of 9ft or more is recommended. When a space is less than 9ft we suggest an enclosure no lower than 8ft tall.
In general projectors will have a native aspect ratio of 4:3, 16:9 or 16:10. Aspect ratio is a means of expressing the ratio of width to height of the image in terms of pixels. A typical 4:3 resolution is 1024x768 where as a typical HD resolution is 1920x1080 (16:9) or 1280x800 (16:10). For the best image quality, we recommend using the native resolution of your projector where possible. All golf hitting enclosures from AllSportSystems can be customized to any height, width or depth. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions about customizing your enclosure.
Each projector model will have a specific throw ratio. A throw ratio is an expression of image width in feet divided by distance from the screen in feet. For example a projector with a 0.5 throw ratio can produce a 10ft wide image from 5 feet. For Golf simulation we recommend short throw projectors with a throw ratio of 0.5 to 0.7 as they place the projector close enough to the screen so that the golfer will not block the image. We have listed on the chart below the throw distance for the Short-throw HD 16:9 1080x1024 3800 lumen projector we offer. This projector has a 0.5 throw ratio in the native HD 16:9 aspect and a 0.66 throw ratio in the standard definition 4:3 aspect.
Throw distance from the screen can be calulated for other projectors using online projector throw calculators for your projector model.
All of our golf enclosures are listed according to the outside dimensions of the frame. This guarantees your enclosure will comfortably fit within the space you have designated for your simulator. When deciding what size enclosure to order note that the side and top netting extensions require at least 12″ clearance from walls, ceilings, or other objects.
Screen size and viewport of the screen varies by product. The viewport refers to the white portion of the screen that is visible after installation. See the chart below showing viewport and recommended image aspect for the MicroBay™, SuperBay™, DIY Bay™ and StudioBay™ golf simulator enclosures.
