How high up does the SkyGuard™ go?
When the SkyGuard™ is set to it's maximum upward angle, the top of the arm will be about 1'-3" (123") above the top of your enclosure. There are 3 total height adjustment settings, with the lowest setting about matching the top of your enclosure.
Which enclosures support the SkyGuard™ netting systems?
Great question! The SkyGuard™ is compatible with the
SuperBay™,
DIY Bay™, and
MicroBay™ systems purchased after July 1st, 2021 (see details below). The
MicroBay™ uses a slightly different bracket from the
SuperBay™ and
DIY Bay™ so be sure to select the correct one for your enclosure!
I purchased my MicroBay™ before July 1st, 2021. How can I get SkyGuard™ netting for my system?
Changes will need to be made to your enclosure structure and your black fabric panels. For structure changes, please reference the
MicroBay™ setup guide and adjust your cage accordingly. If you would like to purchase updated blackout for your
MicroBay™, please give us a call and we'll be happy to help work out the details!
If I have a SkyRailPLUS™, will I also be able to use the SkyGuard™?
There are no compatibility issues between the
SkyRailPLUS™ and SkyGuard™ netting protection systems, although some netting may need to be attached or tucked above the
SkyRailPLUS™. Please be sure that adequate separation exists between the netting and your projector to eliminate any potential fire risk.
