The Problem: EMT Poles Sag, Distorting Your Golf Hitting Screen
EMT poles are made from soft metal, and thus have a natural tendency to sag when suspended horizontally. This introduces waving and rippling on golf hitting screens supported by EMT poles. The problem is exacerbated on wider systems which require a coupler to expand the screen pole beyond 10', as these couplers tend to fit somewhat loosely. On a typical 12' wide system, the screen pole can sag as much as 4 inches! It only gets worse with wider golf simulator screens.
The Fix: SkyBridge™ Span Brackets from AllSportSystems®
Eliminate the screen pole sagging problem by installing a section of Unistrut Channel in place of the EMT pole for the all-important golf hitting screen support. Unistrut Channel naturally resists sagging, even when extended with a coupler, so your golf hitting screen will hang significantly better when you install a SkyBridge™!
Our Patent Pending SkyBridge™ Span Brackets are precision machined from solid 3/8" steel, making them incredibly strong. They will fit poles measuring from 1" to 1.5" in diameter* and are nicely finished in beautiful black. For the very best appearance... eliminate the sag by building a SkyBridge™!
